A few years ago, a trend started in snowboarding where people wore unconventional XL tall tees hanging out from the bottom of their jackets to add personal flair to their outerwear. It was then that Priscilla Levac, founder and designer of Cilla, made it her goal to create a base layer that’s flattering to the women’s body with a waterproof band at the bottom that would stick out the same way that the long t-shirts do. Along with the help of her mother Suzanne Levac, the co-founder and CEO, the dynamic duo incorporated Cilla in 2007, bringing freshness and style to the traditionally unflattering base layers.
